Single Name No Longer Accepted by UAE Government for Inbound/Outbound Flights

Dear Valued Agency Partners,

1. Effective immediately, passengers holding passports with one name (single name) will not be accepted by the UAE government for inbound and outbound flights. This does not apply to transit passengers.
2. Due to this change, passengers may be impacted. To enable our Trade Partners to self-service impacted tickets, SIA is issuing a global waiver policy. Please refer to the Annex of this Sales Circular for more details.
3. You may contact your Account Manager if you have any further queries.
4. Kindly disseminate this information to your front-liners, sub-agents as well as relevant department.
