SINGAPORE AIRLINES SIMPLIFIES ITS GLOBAL TRAVEL WAIVER POLICY FOR COVID-19 (Update 9)

1. Please refer to attached update 9 to sales circular JKT/20/017.

1. The following change was made for eligible ticket criteria.

1. Original travel date must commence between 24 January 2020 and 31 December 2020
2. Passengers who have been impacted by SIA, SilkAir or other airlines flight cancellations are eligible, even if the ticket issuance date and/or travel dates do not meet the criteria of this Policy.
3. Ticket where a Singapore Airlines or Silk Air operated flight was removed from a passenger’s booking due to Covid-19 regulatory/governmental regulations, even if flight is still operating, and regardless of ticket issuance dates and travel dates are eligible for this waiver.

1. Aside, please be reminded to cancel the segments in the PNR as soon as passenger decides not to travel on his/her original itinerary.
