Reminder: Pre-departure COVID-19 test required for your customerߣs upcoming flight to&#a0;Canada&#a0;
Effective today, all&#a0;travellers, five years of age or older, including Canadians, will be required to show a negative PCR, NAT/NAAT or LAMP&#a0;test result taken within 72 hours prior to boarding their scheduled departure to Canada.&#a0;&#a0;
If your customerߣs flight to Canada departs before 00:01 EST on January 14, 2021 from one of the following countries, they are able to present a negative COVID-19 PCR, NAT/NAAT or LAMP test result within 96 hours of departure: Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cura&#e7;ao, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, Saba, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin and Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius, Saint Vincent and Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos.

Travellers&#a0;do not need to provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test if:&#a0;&#a0;
Their flight to Canada departs from one of the&#a0;recognised&#a0;countries identified by the Government of Canada as a country where PCR testing is deemed unavailable, they&#a0;may still travel however upon landing in Canada they&#a0;will be required to quarantine for 14 days in a Public Health Agency of Canada quarantine location.; and/or&#a0;&#a0;
They are only transiting through a Canadian airport from one international destination to another, without entering Canada. Please ensure your customers&#a0;are aware of and in compliance with the entry requirements for their&#a0;final destination.&#a0;

We recognize that we have all been impacted by this global pandemic and while we continue to work towards recovery of our industry and resumption of service during these extraordinary times, we must work together to ensure that we have the necessary customer contact information, in the event we are required to contact our mutual customers.&#a0;&#a0;&#a0;
Now more than ever, we must continue to remain vigilant and as such we are requesting that in addition to the current contact details you are providing, you also provide customer email address, and customer mobile number.&#a0;This will not only enable us to assist you in reaching our mutual customers but also abides by mandatory Transport Canada requirement.&#a0;In addition, it ensures we support our public health authorities and contact trace quickly.&#a0;&#a0;&#a0;
Per Transport Canada it is mandatory to specifically enter customer contact details.&#a0;These must be entered using the standard IATA SSRs:&#a0;

Each country/province has unique requirements which may include forms that must be completed and submitted online, and/or printed and presented at the airport prior to boarding a flight. Failure to meet country entry requirements may result in long delays at the airport or upon arrival at the destination. Travellers may also be refused travel or be subject to government enforcement action for non-compliance.&#a0;

It is&#a0;your&#a0;responsibility&#a0;to ensure that your customer&#a0;- and any child travelling with&#a0;them&#a0;- have all the&#a0;valid travel documents necessary to enter in, exit from or transit through, each country/province&#a0;on&#a0;their itinerary regardless of if the flight is operated by Air Canada or another carrier.&#a0;
