Another Pacific expansion for Fall 2023

 

Already the largest U.S. carrier across both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, United is adding even more flights to the Asia-Pacific region, becoming the first U.S. airline to fly direct to Manila from the continental U.S. and adding more non-stops to Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Taipei. In total, we’ll fly long-haul flights to 15 different international destinations across the Pacific this winter. Excluding mainland China flying, our transpacific network will be 50% larger than all other U.S. airlines combined.

No multiple sets of 016 documents for the same person in one PNR.

 

Please do not issue multiple sets of 016 tickets for the same person in one PNR (except conjunctive tickets). This practice can cause check-in and exchange issues and customers may face the following problems :

 

  • Self-service check-in may not be available
  • The wrong coupon may be uplifted
  • There is a high margin for error when changing or canceling segments
  • The errors can be complicated to fix

July to September flight operation updates

SIN Terminal Change

 

We are excited to announce that starting from 20th July 2023, United Airlines will be operating from Terminal 2 at Singapore Changi Airport.

 

Our airport counter, including kiosks and bag drop, will open for check-in 3 hours prior to departure as usual.

 

 
New domestic first class seats

 

The new United First® seat will feature vegan leather upholstery, 13-inch seatback screens and 18-inch tray tables, Bluetooth connectivity, privacy screens and an ergonomist-designed cushion.

 

We expect the new seat to be on 200 domestic planes by 2026.

 

Purchase seats with miles

 

MileagePlus® members can now use their miles to purchase seat assignments, Preferred seating or Economy Plus® on domestic flights through united.com or our app.
