SINGAPORE AIRLINES COVID-19 GLOBAL TRAVEL WAIVER POLICY FOR TRAVELING ON/AFTER 01 APRIL 2021
- Please be informed of the updated Global Travel Waiver Policy for Covid-19, for travel on/after 01 April 2021.
- For ticket issued under SQ/MI (618/629) documents and booked for travel on SIA, SilkAir or SQ/MI codeshare flights for travel on/after 01 April 2021, in case of (1) flight cancellations or (2) when SQ/MI-operated flight was removed from a passenger’s booking due to Covid-19, regulatory/governmental regulations, even if flight is still operating, passengers will be entitled to the following options:
- Refund the unused sector without fees.
- Rebooking without change fee. Fare top-ups to prevailing fare at time of reissuance and other additional charges (e.g. applicable taxes) may apply.
- For partially unused tickets exceeding the maximum stay condition, fare top-ups to the next applicable fare and other additional charges (e.g. applicable taxes) will apply.
- Please insert this circular JKT21006 as the approval code for refund or change fee waiver in the Endorsement box, for reissuance in accordance to conditions highlighted in paragraph 2.
- For Global Travel Waiver Policy covering tickets with travel dates on/before 31 March 2021, please refer to sales circular JKT/20/017 sent on 09 December 2020.
